I was thinking of
Magic Sam the other day, a great blues artist from Chicago. I was fortunate to see him perform live in Copenhagen just a couple of months before he passed away in 1969. Sam Maghett moved to Chicago in 1950
. Next year will see the first President of the USA coming from Chicago - it appears he will have a lot to fix.

One of my favourite Farm Security Administration photographers is
Russell Lee
. In the archives of the Library of Congress you will find thousands of images by this photographer. I was looking for pictures from Chicago and a few of them are displayed here.
