Neighbourhood (Barrio)
Wiki says: "Neighbourhoods are common, and perhaps close to universal, since most people in urbanised areas would probably consider themselves to be living in one."
Ice Cube said: "Plus nobody I know got killed in South Central L.A. Today was a good day". Actor and film director Mathieu Kassovitz said in an interview published by Thing Reviews (author Ryan Deussing) that "hood films now are made by studios and have nothing to do with the reality they supposedly represent."
And what about the fancy neighbourhoods? What´s their story? Are we in a recession or a depression? How does that affect the fancy neighbourhoods - if not at all? I am very curious.
I think it is an essential subject to deal with. For better or worse, the neighbourhood where you live or used to live is unlikely to leave you indifferent. So take the challenge and share your interpretation of "the neighbourhood" with 591.
