591 Reportage - Tatiana Bitir
In the "middle of nowhere"...
This is a sad story...like any other sad stories in the world (so many)...! I was in a documentary trip in Cuba, I met these two old ladies in Trinidad/Cuba. They barely noticed me when I was making photos...they continued their lives as usually....in that "middle of nowhere" place....!
I was trying to find the place again next day but like a miracle it disappeared....Everything was like a dream....if I would not have the pictures I would say it was an illusion...to remind me that I have to look around and see....
This story is not one that will characterize Cuba, I would say that people are poor but they are smiling and I have seen many old people most of the time somebody around to take care of them...but...there are unfortunately places like this... - Tatiana Bitir
