Walter Neiger - Exhibition «Augenklicke» and new author of 591

I was born in 1951 and live in Switzerland. I'm not a professional, I'm a pure amateur (in latin: amatore = aficionado). From the mid-1980s to the new millennium I had my own dark room. I have always been interested in B&W photography, but the digital era has sparked off a new passion also for colour photography.

There cannot be a better start to the new year than an exhibiton for the entire month of January, together with my daughter Melanie, in the Gallery at the Heimatmuseum in Reinach, Switzerland, the pictures above are from this exhibition  ̶̶  and now as a regular author of 591 Photography … what more could one want?

It is a pleasure to have Walter Neiger as a fellow traveller on this journey with 591 Photography. He has already contributed in many ways to the development of the site. To me it is a surprise to know that we were born the same year! Well, age is just an attitude and to be born in the 50s is something special. Welcome Walter and enjoy the ride! - Mr Urbano
