It is an amazing portrait, very original. The portrayed man really seems to enjoy rings, bracelets, watches and wildly coloured patterns. In all this generous display of objects that he is wearing it is a kind of relief to see his naked belly and his smile, telling us that there is a man behind all the glamour. - Mr Urbano

Francisco Mata rosas is one of Mexico's most important contemporary photographers. He was born in México City, 1958. Mata Rosas work have been exposed all over the world and he is the author of several books. We will get to know him even better in the coming months on 591 Photograhpy.
