May 1st, International Workers Day

Today Social Democrats held their traditional annual parade which ended at Norra latin, Stockholm with speech from LO-boss Wanja Lundby-Wedin.

The weather was on top and also the mood of the some 12 000 people who had gathered there, except from a small group of aggressive youths who demanded Wanja´s resignation due to her earlier involvement in approving former Amf boss high pension.

A big mix of people were there with all kind of issues on their signs, some with small issues others with big issues.

In the end it seemed that Wanja´s speech gathered the crowd and most people looked satisfied with the day, after all the sun was shining!

Great pictures! The angry eyes of the young and resignation in the faces of the old - it's all there. (One thing: her name is Wanja, not Anja).
