the couple

Paul Boocock is a passionate photographer and a man with many interesting things to tell. I want you to get to know him a bit better, so stay tuned for more after this.

Paul finds his way with the Holga in London where he lives, but also in Brazil, New York and Scotland etc. He says about his pictures of London; "My rather blurred vision of my home city, famous places, unknown places and some just expressive images where location is not as important as the content."

I found these two pictures that got my attention. It is a simple and effective demonstration of how you can make good photography if you are patient and observant. There is another thing with these pictures. Have a look what happens if I change the order of appearance. Can you see/feel the difference? - Mr Urbano

Yes a big difference on how you present them, first option leaves me with a feeling that something have been lost, like a hollow feeling and with the second its the total difference, the emptiness has been filled......and they lived happily ever after ;)

Very intertesting and nice to see! ...

but I feel the couple is best in the first presentation, like if it suites them better... there's something into the photos that tell me it's like that... the women's way of acting sitting there makes me feel like if at a certain point they went away leaving their chairs. They are into a shadow... it's probably late... not too warm there, the others are all in the sunny area...

Very fine work!
