the grey zone

European Union transport ministers has recently defined three risk zones according to the concentration of ash from the volcanic eruption on Iceland. Flying is still banned in the high-risk zone, but individual countries can decide whether to allow flights in the medium-risk zone. The low-risk zone is open.

Citizen Zed has been thinking about this. Life is perhaps not black or white and greyscales can be seen in photographs. Is there also a grey zone when it comes to flying airplanes through an ash cloud?

Black and white is how it should be

But shades of grey are the colors I see.”
