Tomoko Sawada, Kulturhuset Stockholm

Tomoko Sawada (b. 1977) lives and works in Japan. In the series Omiai, Sawada similarly portrays herself as thirty different candidates for arranged marriages.

Tomoko is also found in the series ”School Days” (2004–2006). It's her face you are watching over and over again. She used ten different school uniforms and created 400 students and ten techers for "School Days".

A most interesting photographer. Her show opens on 4 November at Kulturhuset and it's on until 30 January 2011.
