Sangre - Diego Levy
About four years ago I came across Diego Levy's pictures from Buenos Aires, Medellin, Rio de Janeiro and Mexico City. So brutal and violent - Levy depicts the darkest moments of cities troubled with drugs, delinquency and poverty. They are incredible scenes of despair and authenticity. Diego's work has had a lasting impression and I still think about some of his images from this series. There is now a book available called "Sangre." Try to get it. It is probably one of the most imortant photobooks that have been published in recent years.
