All I want is a camera that can translate my emotions
The sentient French woman, Marie Sordat lives in Belgium. She studied cinema, where she met photography, and immediately fell in love with the vocation. Through this passion she can tell us small parts of her own big movie, a parallel world. To shoot this story, she travels a lot by chance. She uses the external world to draw out her dreams. For keeping the timeless, eternal magic of her inner reality, she doesn’t use fixed geographic or temporal references.
Little flashlights let us travel into a multiple space, which is full of ethereal, barely being creatures, and their hearts are often overflow solitude. Living breathers, numb blinks, animate moments are clattering through the black and white strife. They talk a lot about Marie, but only to each other, in secret.

Marie is introduced to us by Vera Fehér. I am truly thankful to Vera for inviting Marie Sordat. Some of her pictures on show really blows my mind - a child in a window with a star above, glowing eyes of a man or a dog in the dark, scratches in a woman's face - strong visuals moments - Mr Urbano
