Is there anything like working class photography? I don't know and it is not my intention to define or categorize the photography of Niklas Korte. But still - his pictures are in my opinion quite different from the usual "social reportage" depicting the lives of common people.

Without disregarding the great work created by photographers who have payed a visit to what sometimes is called "real life" - I am glad that there are photographers like Niklas Korte. He is not a documentary photographer on a short visit to Realityland - it is life as he sees it. Everyday life with hope and despair, love and hate, life and death.
