Photos © Ewa StackelbergIt seems that I have met Ewa several times, first when her book Tale for the living was handed over to me. I was very moved by her work. The book was awarded "Best photobook of the year" in 2001 by The Association of Swedish Professional Photographers (SFF) and I was happy to publish several pictures from her book on The F blog around Christmas 2006. This extensive display of Ewa's work included pictures from her exhibition "Surrrender".
A couple of weeks ago I finally met Ewa in real life in Stockholm. We met on a café and she showed me a tiny, beautiful album with 10x10cm colour photographs - an intimate story, a childhood revisited depicted with great sensibility. I loved it.
