In Path of Vambery - exhibition in Budapest, Tamas Paczai

After 8 months and 30 thousand km travel with bicycle through Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia in path of the famous Hungarian orientalist Arminius Vambery (1832 - 1913) Tamas Paczai arrived back to Hungary. The goal of the travel was to document Vamberys legendary Central-Asian travel with photographs, honouring his memory.
The "In Path of Vambery" exhibition takes place in the Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism, Budapest from 19.9.2013 to 27.10.2013, curated by Bela Doka.

He was born 181 years ago, travelled to Central-Asia 150 years ago and died 100 years ago.
