Photographer of the Week - Witold Wiszniewski - Manifesto
Less is more
It can always be less
Higher!
It can always be less
Higher!
Witold Wiszniewski, Warsaw, Poland, born 1952, amateur photographer, profession: translator of technical, juristic and business texts. My first shots I took about 50 years ago, in 1962/63 at primary school. One of our teachers arranged a hobby-photo-group. Since 2003 I use most of the time digital cameras.
What do I like best in photography? Composition; good composition is crucial for me. I try to find and select things I want to have in my frame, and eliminate all else, just by moving my camera; fascinating adventure. I often shoot details of architecture, constructions, buildings, eager to find art in simplest things.
Inspirations: Pieter Cornelis Mondriaan, Казимир Северинович Малевич
(Kazimir Malevich), Maurits Cornelis Escher, and many more
