Language of the heart

I got to know about Micke Ek and his photography about four years ago. What struck me was his way of telling the story about everyday life, without looking for the spectacular or odd. Just a live stream of pictures as life happens, children grow up and time goes by. 

Sometimes intimate pictures of family life, at times pictures from the neighbourhood or from travels. Following his work back to 2012 I think that he is now finding a language of his own - a language of the heart.
