"So glad I had the chance to do a short story about them. I had passed by several times without daring to enter. The atmosphere was like stepping back to NYC in the 70's. Not that I neither lived then or was there. 

The story is mostly about shaping / conveying the feeling of being there. Now, unfortunately, they have renovated the whole place, and it has lost much of its charm."
