A few minutes I was thinking about selecting a landscape, sunset in Havana, children in the background playing, backlit perfect, warm and bright colors .. but suddenly I remembered this picture.

Certainly not my best picture but I think the look, the intensity in the eyes of the child is amazing. After several years of observing I still wonder if I just had watched him staring, minding his own business while his companions dialogue before coming to school.
