For this photographic essay I followed the roads from Memphis to the south in the state of Mississippi at about 5 km away from the Mississippi river. It 's a poor and forgotten region, houses in decay, grey dry landscapes, unbelievable number of churches. I want to show it in a sober non-exaggerated way.
