Reality in a photograph

The Professor is away and Mr Intesorry has visited a flea market.

There has also been some interesting input in the debate about reality.

Mr. NB says "The question is whether our world is, in fact, more photographic than real?" and argues ´depicting reality is to create a language of it,´ referring to a book by Christer Strömholm/Timo Sundberg."

Mr LK adds "Our perception of and about reality is in many respects a collection of images, and a photograph does actually stop time in that context."

mrurbano points out that "there are certain philosophical schools, for example  idealism proclaimed by George Berkeley, Plato etc. To them reality is something subjective and constructed by our senses or our consciousness, while others (materialism) such as Democritus, Marx, believe that there is an objective reality independent of our perception of it."

Arthur Intessory: "I will show you how people who are blind from birth can create excellent photos. And they will receive feedback in text about how the picture turned out. So what do we call that?"

The Professor: Stop him! He's a charlatan, a fraud, and a threat to all good photography!

To be continued...
