Picture this: last snow

Photo Anders Blomqvist

It is good to hear from Anders, once a co-editor of the F blog. Some years of great creativity by many authors. Anders has said about his work: "It’s about photography, analog photography. Silver grain developed, enlarged and enjoyed. The darkroom as an habitat of creativity – and fun"

We exchanged some thoughts about making an exhibition which made me think about the importance to actually do something with your pictures. Christer Strömholm said in his last interview; "When I’ve taken the picture I have to do something with it. That’s why printing is so important."

It may seem obvious and I believe that there is an increasing demand for pictures on paper, framed or in a photo book. It is encouraging and there is a lot of work to be done in order to open up more spaces where photography can be seen and discussed.
