Days of Awe

Days of Awe
Days of Awe - Phil Decker

"Last year, while sitting in synagogue on the eve of Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) to begin the 10 Days of Awe until Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement), I wondered if I could notice a moment of awe within the flow of daily life, not just while surrounded by the ancient melodies, rituals, peace and community of synagogue. It has been great to follow Phil's series. In our time, it is important to stop and reflect upon where we are, who we are and where we are going. Phil has also learned me something about Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, that I only had vague ideas about. - Mr Urbano
