Vivian Maier

A touching story

I first read about life and death of Vivian Maier leafing through the pages of B&W Photography Magazine, last December. Then, after reading a post here, looking for some more information on the web, I came across this TV report from "Chicago Tonight". I'm sure you'll spend some good time watching at it.

To Vivian and her monumental work is today dedicated a blog, Vivian Maier - Her Discovered Work, run by John Maloof, her negatives discoverer.

From January 8 to April 3, Chicago Cultural Center will host an exhibition not to miss about this mysterious and silent witness of a part of the American history.

She was certainly a very great talent, her pictures are simply wonderful and the ones I have seen are very uplifting indeed. Hope that exhibition comes over to this side of the ocean soon!
