591 Spring Exhibition 2011 - Images of Men and Women

Dear photographers,

This is the third major collective exhibition launched by 591 Photography. The previous ones "Portraits" - Summer exhibition 2009 and "The 80's reinvented" - Spring Exhibition 2010 were very successful and we want to explore this form of making online exhibitions further.

The subject "Images of Men and Women" may appear evident but there are many aspects to it. We hope you will take on the challenge!

There are three categories for your submissions:
Men and Women - both female and male photographers may contribute. Hosted by Mikael Jansson
Women - only male photographers can submit. Hosted by Paolo Saccheri
Men - only female photographers can participate. Hosted by Rhonda Prince

The final selection will be made by the hosts and by Mr Urbano. We will make a selection with equal number of pictures from each category.

Important: The pictures submitted should be max 800 pixels width/height, 72 dpi and jpg.

Please be sure to have a high resolution/print quality original backed up if you are interested in participating in possible future book or print projects.

Deadline for submissions is 6 February ( max 5 photos per category )
The exhibition will go online 19 March, 2011

Men and women together in in same photo. No specific gender has to be behind the camera, in other words both male and female photographers can send in photos to this category as long as both men and women are shown in it. Get creative and send us your best shots! Send no more than 5 photos to 591menandwomen@gmail.com.

Mikael Jansson

I will be glad to receive your contribution to this extraordinary 591 Spring Exhibition. This means that all men of any age that want to participate may send max. 5 photos to 591women@gmail.com.

Iconic at any time, woman has been a preferred subject in painting and photography. I would like to see your personal interpretations and points of view.
